Roland Rotary Rack Accessory for Cylindrical Printing for BD-8
Roland Rotary Rack Accessory for Cylindrical Printing for BD-8 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
360-Degree Cylindrical Printing
The rotary accessory for the Roland VersaStudio BD-8 spins the item under the printhead so artwork continues around the full circumference of cylindrical and curved objects up to roughly 2 in in diameter. It is the cheapest way to add a product category to the lowest-cost printer in the Roland UV flatbed line: the BD-8 already sits on a counter, and this accessory takes it from flat coasters and badges into tumblers, bottles and pens without a second machine, a second operator or another square foot of floor. Installation is quick and tool-free, so a shop can move between flat and rotary work inside the same shift. Genuine Roland accessory, supplied and supported by LogoJET.

What the BD-8 Rotary Accessory Adds:
A new category on the machine you already own. Cylindrical work is the most-requested job most BD-8 owners have to turn away. This is the fix, at accessory money rather than equipment money. - Sized to the BD-8. Matched to the 8.27 x 5.83 in bed and its 4 in clearance, so the geometry is right without modification.
- Swap in and out inside a shift. Tool-free fitting means rotary jobs do not have to be batched to a separate day.
- Continuous artwork, no seam break. The item rotates as it prints, so a wrap reads as one graphic instead of stopping at a flat facet.
- Same ink, same workflow. Runs the Eco-UV5 set already in the machine, including Primer for stainless and glass and White as an underbase on dark vessels. Best-Fit Work for the BD-8 Rotary
- Slim tumblers and water bottles. Up to about 2 in diameter, the volume seller in personalized drinkware.
- Promotional pens and vials. Small-diameter items a flat bed cannot decorate at all.
- Candle vessels and small jars. Wax containers, spice jars and cosmetic pots for retail and events.
- Glassware, with Primer. Pint glasses and shot glasses printed over the EUV5 Primer channel for adhesion.
- Event and market personalization. Single pieces printed while the customer waits, at made-to-order pricing.

Frequently Asked Question
Is this the same rotary as the BD-12 unit?
No. This is part OA-RA-8 for the Roland BD-8. The BD-12 uses the Rotary Rack, part OA-RA-12. Order against your machine model, not the series name.
What diameter can the BD-8 rotary handle?
Cylindrical and curved items up to approximately 2 in in diameter. Larger vessels are outside the accessory's range, so confirm your product with a LogoJET specialist before ordering.
Do I need White or Primer for drinkware?
Usually both. Primer (EUV5-2PR) goes down first for adhesion on stainless and glass, then White (EUV5-WH) as an underbase so color reads on a dark or metallic vessel, then CMYK.
Can I still print flat work with the rotary installed?
Yes. It fits and removes without tools, so flat and rotary jobs can share a shift rather than being scheduled apart.
How do I set up a full-wrap file?
Artwork is laid out flat and the rotation wraps it, driven by the item's diameter and circumference. Measuring correctly is most of the job. See 360 Rotary Printing or call our technical team.
