Mirror Image and White Ink Printing
For clear acrylic, print the image in a mirror image, then apply a white ink layer behind it. This allows for a vivid, opaque appearance when viewed from the front, while the back can also be printed for a double-sided effect. This is often referred to as the “oreo cookie” technique”
Pro Tip: Add a black imprint layer between the images to block out light and prevent the back image from showing through the front. This technique ensures the highest quality and sharpness of the front-facing graphic.
Upsell Opportunity: Many businesses leave the back of the acrylic blank, but by printing the same or a different image on the reverse side, you can offer customers a more comprehensive and visually appealing product.
